Terms & Conditions

The following standard Terms & Conditions are applicable to all work:

1. Dunbar Design Studio (Pty) Ltd only proceed on the project on receiving a signed quote or Purchase Order number.
2. Dunbar Design Studio (Pty) Ltd will issue a tax invoice at the start of the project and will requires a 50% deposit before commencement of project. Upon submission of first draft a further payment of 30% is required. Once all drawings and designs are approved the balance of 20% is due on COD, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
3. The company reserves the right to cancel the agreement if clients fail to make payment.
4. If client wish to cancel any agreement/ orders at any stage they will be held liable to pay R700.00 for every hour that Dunbar Design has spend working on this project up to date of cancellation.
5. All accounts are to be paid COD, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
6. All outstanding amounts are to be paid via bank transfer. Any Casy deposits made will be charged and additional 2% on cost of payment being made.
7. Interest will be added to all account that are 30 days or more outstanding.
8. The full outstanding balance will become due and payable if clients fail to pay any instalment on the due date thereof, in which event they will become liable to pay all the cost in connection with the collection of any amount due by the client in terms hereof including legal costs on the scale as between attorney and own client inclusive of collection commission.
9. In the event of one or more of these terms, conditions, rules or regulations being un/enforceable it will be deemed to be severable from the remainder of this agreement.
10. In the event of the company closing, my contract shall be terminated with immediate effect and I shall have no right or claim against the company save for a refund of a pro rata amount of pre paid fees, if any.
11. All specialist (engineers, architect, ect.) cost will be billed directly to the client.
12. Council submission cost are to be carried by the client.
13. Travelling expenses will be charged per kilometre from our office.
14. All printing and delivery costs are excluded from the attached quote.
15. All plans/ designs will be issued to clients in electronic formate.

 

These terms and conditions are our agreement and no representation, no addition, no variation or cancellation shall be of any force and effect unless reduced to writing and signed by all parties.
